Great Canada Winner 2002 Attraction Canada Awards

In ''Natural Outdoor Site, less
than 100km2'' May 30th in Edmonton were
chosen the winners in the 14 categories of the prestigious 2002 Attraction
Canada Award. The ceremony awards attractions and events from all over
the country. Canyon Sainte-Anne was representing the Province of Quebec
in ''Natural Outdoor Site, category IA'' (less than 100km2). Canyon Sainte-Anne
was the only family business contestant in this category; all the others
were governmental parks.

Battlefield Earth produced by John Travolta

It was on Saturday July 10th that some scenes of the
movie BATTLEFIELD EARTH were shot at Canyon Sainte-Anne. A team of about
140 persons were on the set. Most of the scenes involved the actor Barry
Pepper (Saving Private Ryan, Enemy of the State) and some artists from
Quebec.

25th anniversary and 3 millions visitors
(Press release, August 1998)
For more than 25h years, the Mc Nicoll family preserves one of the Quebecs
greatest natural site. The two founders, Jean-Marie and Laurent
Mc Nicoll have built three suspension bridges (one of them is the famous
Mc Nicoll bridge which is 55 meters high over the canyon), and many view
points which give you the opportunity to discover some geological treasures.
The tradition continues with the second generation; Helene and François,
children of Laurent.
